Now in emergency situations, Spice Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers can connect to their near and dear ones even when their outgoing is barred, and the charges of the call will be borne by the Spice subscriber to whom the call is being made.

Process

1) Caller needs to dial 522 (Toll free number)

2) Caller is prompted to press the 10 digits of the called-party mobile number

3) Caller is prompted to record his / her name

4) Called-party should be an active Spice subscriber, if this is not so then the callers is informed about the status and the call is disconnected

5) The Called-party is prompted to accept the call and informed of the charges

6) In case the Called-party accepts the call, the caller and the called-party are connected, and they can talk 7) In case the Called-party rejects the call, the subscriber who has initiated the call is informed about the same and the call is disconnected.

Charges

Charges for the call is borne by the Called-party @ Rs1/min

Emergency Call Service Pack

Spice subscribers can activate Emergency Call service Pack by just dialing 522, and make outgoing calls for a duration of 10 minutes every month. The called subscriber (call receiver) will not pay for the call, if the caller has subscribed to Spice Emergency Call Service Pack and is calling through 522.
To subscribe to this pack a nominal rate of Rs.10 will be charged.
