Option of selecting a network through "Manual"
Network selection through "Automatic":
An automatic network selection in your handset implies that your handset will log to any particular network whose signal strength is relatively stronger. However, this would mean that you may also get logged onto the networks of Non Friendly operators and would in turn be paying higher calling rate.
Network selection through "Manual":
Through manual logging, you have a choice of selecting the network you would wish to log onto since it gives you a list of operators available. This would help you to select the Friendly network and avail roaming at lower calling rates.
